The Outer Banks Restaurant Association Annual "Taste of the Beach" will be held March 15-18, 2012.

The Front Porch will be offering 3 separate events/workshops:

--Coffee Cupping: back by popular demand, this 2 hour course will teach you how to taste the delicate nuances of various coffees along with an informative discussion on the journey of coffee from seed to cup.

--Coffee Brewing Technology: Explore the various methods used to brew coffee, both at home and how commercial systems differ. Included will be the opportunity to try out our new stat of art Bunn Trifecta single cup brewer, and try some great coffees along the way!

--Coffee Roasting Workshop. How is coffee roasted? Can I do it at home? Learn from the Roastmasters at the Front Porch with some hands on experience.
